Mako Running is committed to being a family for all. We aim to create a safe and warm environment for all our past, current and future members, as well as general public on a daily basis.

Our individual uniqueness should be embraced, not challenged. It should be something we praise, not punish. It should connect us, not divide us.

My priorities for Mako Running are to use running as a tool to bring communities together for a better tomorrow. As I continue my own education and acts of inclusivity, I encourage anyone reading this who has any ideas or initiatives to please contact us. We are always looking for additional ways to show our support.

As a straight, white male, I can appreciate that I will never truly know what it is like to be discriminated against for being yourself. I continue to stand with you all and remain hopeful that one day, the world will truly be united.
